Here's why:
1. A tube of this lasts longer than any other tube of gloss (or lip balm) I've used.
2) Its emollients moisturize my lips without that hideous sticky effect alot of glosses have.
3) The color 'Hipster' is perfect: a few strokes provide enough tint to be worn alone, yet it's subtle enough to be the perfect compliment over an all-day lipcolor or lipstain.
4) I can have a tube of this in my pocket outdoors on a hot Memphis summer day and it has never melted or gotten greasy the way some other gloss formulas have.
I simply love this stuff!

Nice, smooth feeling on parched lips. Just see-through enough for a natural but glamourous look. This is a very good lipstick/lipgloss at a modest price.

This has a very subtle shine to it, so it looks like you aren't wearing too much gloss.

This also works great under lipstick to soften any lipstick shade.

After years of trying various lip products (balms, glosses, lipsticks), my lips were always dry and cracked. I didn't really value caring for them, so many products and their harsh ingredients did this (including balms...don't let them trick you). So I decided to research some and use only products that were super moisturizing on my lips, and left them feeling soft and smoother. Lipslicks are one of the few products that actually do this! They are more of a balm, the shades they offer and subtle and mature, while the packaging looks like makeup. My lips feel amazing after using them, almost immediately soft, and when it wears off, it doesn't leave that dry/cracked feeling that many other lip products do. STRONG recommendation, it's the only thing I use apart from vaseline and cocoa butter now!

This lip gloss leaves your lips feeling soft and with a subtle hint of color - great for casual use during the day. Am very happy with purchase and would recommend to all.

These are non-sticky tinted balms. Sheer coverage that adds a small tint to your natural color. Demure is non-shimmery and nice for a nude lip. Daring is a subtle wine shade with a small amount of shimmer, though I don't really notice any shimmer when it is on. No taste, but they do smell a tad like sunscreen. They have cured my chapped lips in the past. Moisturizing. As other reviewers have mentioned, they don't melt. Would repurchase. Demure is my holy grail everyday shade.

I previously had a bad habit of buying a new lipstick or lip gloss every couple weeks. It is hard to find the right shade for everyday wear that still feels good enough to want to wear every day -- this is it!! I have medium skin and the color is perfect, year-round. It is light and not sticky at all, very similar to a lip balm. The sheer tint provides enough coverage alone, but it can also be layered over a stain for a great "shimmer" over a deeper color. It is in my pocket every single day! Another reviewer already stated this, but it is worth repeating -- does not melt!

This is an inexpensive but effective sheer lip gloss with a hint of color. Not sticky and almost tasteless. Can be used alone or over other products for adding shine.

Taste is horrible, but it does what it should: moisturizes and protects. Also has a nice shimmer to it. I've used this for years when its uncouth to have a fruity smell to my lipgloss.

I use this stuff just about every day. Great color, texture and price. Why pay more when Cover Girl Lipslick is as good as stuff in department stores for ten times the price?? Bronze Goddess is a rich and vibrant color with just the right amount of sheerness.
