Salon-worthy Secrets

To get the shiniest, smoothest manicures, keep your polish layers thin and allow to dry completely between coats.

Brilliant At-Home Manicures

Just six steps to your shiniest manicure yet.

  1. File your nails in one direction starting at the edges and moving toward the top.
  2. Soak in soapy water for a few minutes to soften cuticles.
  3. Instead of trimming cuticles, which can lead to weak nails and infection, push back cuticles with a wooden nail stick.
  4. Massage hands with a hand lotion for extra moisture.
  5. Remove any moisturizer or old nail polish with non-acetone nail polish remover.
  6. Apply two coats of Outlast Stay Brilliant Glosstinis. Start at the side and apply in three strokes, one on each side and one in the middle.

I purchased the Sangria color and was able to get great coverage with only two coats.
TryitLoveit
I have probably thrown out more old nail polish than I use because I NEVER finish a bottle and it usually gets too thick to put on.
cpareviewlady
The color of the product picture is a rich deep purple, but the color I received is a pastel pinkish purple.

I purchased the Sangria color and was able to get great coverage with only two coats. I am fairly hard on my nails with my daily activities, but the color lasted for quite awhile - I am very pleased!

This polish goes on very nicely and covers well for one coat. I usually do 2 coats though. The polish lasts about the same length of time as other regular polish--1 day with no chips. Having a top coat on helps, but it doesn't wear like gel or acrylic nails.

I love the small bottle. I have probably thrown out more old nail polish than I use because I NEVER finish a bottle and it usually gets too thick to put on. This is so nice because you pay less for the smaller bottle and use the same amout as the larger bottle.

Even after buffing my nails and putting on two coats, this polish still looks streaky. Maybe the other colors look better, but I do not recommend the Pina Colada.

I think that I have a different take on these little gems, because I love them and I am ordering more of some of the colors.

I have, and am wearing, lemon drop, orange oasis, appletini, purple freeze and pink lady. No I am not a teen, but an "old gal' who loves color and collects nail lacquers.

Yes, these are small bottles compared to the full sized bottles that we are all accustomed to buying. I wish that CG had made them in a larger size, but these are, in my fairly large sized collection, rather unique colors for the most part. I think the ones that I find I have no dupes for are Appletini, Pink Lady and Purple Freeze (I do have a similar purple, but not quite the same). I also have similar colors to Lemon Drop and Orange Oasis, but even these have little something different that makes them worthwhile for me to buy.

I collect green polishes and Appletini is a color that is different from any in my embarrassing collection of greens.

My experience is that two coats work just fine with the possible exceptions of Lemon Drop and Orange Oasis which might benefit from three coats. I used two coats on all colors and am pleased enough.
The PROS:
1. unique colors

The CONS:
1. I am not thrilled with the brush, but it does the job just fine
2. A bit of bubbling even on very dry base coat, but my top coat (SecheVite) made them go away completely.
3. Small bottles.

I look for unique colors - so obviously that is the reason I love these little bottles of color.

No these are not perfect nail lacquers and I have to admit that, for the size especially, I think that they are overpriced a bit (but here on Amazon I think they are reasonable- I bought my first at my local pharmacy and they were $3.

Blue Hawaiian is a few shades lighter than shown here -- it lacks that lovely punch of teal and is instead closer to a pastel.

This is a very small bottle and wasn't even full when it arrived. However, this brand is one of the very few I've tried that actually lasts any length of time. Although this particular color probably needs two coats, most of the Outlast colors do not. Color is exactly what is pictured.

First, I bought this at my local retailer. I LOVE this pale color yellow and the fact that it's not garish like most yellow nail colors I come across. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. My only complaints are 1) I wish this shade came in the usual sized bottle and 2) that it was part of the brand's regular nail color line-up and not a limited edition shade.
