If you are looking at this album then you are a fan of one of the bands on it and you should probably download the single. As a whole, this is not a great record.
I happen to be a Black Keys fan and the Captain Beefheart cover is stellar, an outstanding choice of cover material and great execution. The ZZ Top cover from Mastodon is pretty great too. Personally, I can do without the rest.

Since I am a fan of both The Replacements and Against Me! I was very eager to hear the Against Me! version of Here Comes A Regular. I thought it was very well done.
I also bought the Adam Sandler version of Like A Hurricane just for kicks. This is also a pretty good version.

I bought this Cd for Disturbed's version of MidLife Crisis. which is true to the orginal done by Faith No More. I thought it was mixed well. The other songs are not bad songs. I just am not familar with some of the other artists on this CD. I think if you are a collector it is worth having. It is a nicely put together Cd with a nice booklet with it, it just is quite a variety of singers and songwriters.
