5.0 out of 5 stars Coverlet Latex-free Adhesive Dressing Strips
Coverlet Bandaids are the very best I have ever found. They stay on in all kinds of conditions unlike other brands. They are latex-free so do not cause skin reactions. They are used in hospitals and in industrial situations. I have not found them available in most retail stores.

2.0 out of 5 stars Coverlet Latex Free Adhesive Strips
Brought a couple of boxes of these Coverlet Latex Free Strips(3"x1")because of the great reviews. I agree with all of the postings that these are one of the best adhesive strips out on the market as far as sticking, holding, protecting your cuts with great flexibility, however, I'm not quite certain if it's just me but, there must be something in the adhesive which I'm...

5.0 out of 5 stars NICE! REAL NICE!, September 25, 2007
This review is from: Coverlet Latex-Free Adhesive Dressings Strips - 1 inch X 3 Inches,100 / Box (Health and Beauty)
My son hurt his finger today at school. He was bleeding pretty bad from his cut and a regular bandage could not adhere and stop the blood from coming through. The teacher sent him to the nurse and she put the Coverlet Adhesive Dressing on his finger - one of the finger bandage shapes - and it is real nice. I don't see any blood coming through and it is very flexible and stuck on his finger securely. Usually with the store brands he needs replacement bandages often because they fall off and they also don't "breath" and flex as well. So, from first hand (or finger in this case) experience, these are EXCELLENT bandages.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful bandaids, February 3, 2010
This review is from: Coverlet Latex-Free Adhesive Dressings Strips - 1 inch X 3 Inches,100 / Box (Health and Beauty)
My dermatologist told me that these bandaids were of much higher quality than those available in the drugstore, and she was right. They stay on much better than the usual. However, they do not have a box of mixed sizes so you need to buy several boxes to get the variety you are likely to need. This makes it rather expensive and you get enough bandaids to last several years, depending on your family needs. I think it is worth it and am delighted with my purchase since I am a gardener and get lots of little scrapes and cuts.

I am allergic to Band-aid brand band-aids (the adhesive AND the center pad). I noticed that the bandaids put on me after my blood gets drawn at my doctor's office did not irritate me. So I asked them what they used.
It was Coverlet brand. I could not find this brand on store shelves.

With all the allergic responses to various substances these days, it's nice to know these are available to we sensitive-skinned individuals!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bandages - from an ER doctor, September 11, 2011

I found out about these because my husband is an ER doctor and they use these at the hospital. They are waterproof and stay on but they don't hurt coming off. They're also made of an elastic mesh, so they're more comfortable and don't cut off circulation.

5.0 out of 5 stars I go through bandaids like crazy, and these are great., May 14, 2011

I'm a gardener and pretty accident-prone. I can't tell you how many bandaids I go through. I got tired of running up to the Dollar General for yet another box, so I decided to try these. I ordered two boxes so I'd have plenty of bandaids on hand. I'll probably wind up ordering more.

The 1 x 3 size is just right for the kinds of scrapes and punctures I tend to get. I am apparently extremely latex sensitive, and these do not bother my skin at all. They are a fabric-type bandage that is quite comfortable. They don't restick terribly well if you pull them off, but as long as the first-stick integrity is maintained, they stay on. Unlike some bandaids out there, the edges extend out beyond the bandage's protective wound pad and stick to the skin, ensuring dirt doesn't slide in under the edge.

These are probably too big to wrap around a finger, so next I'm going to order BSN Medical Coverlet Small Finger Adhesive Bandages 2 1/8" x 1 1/2" - Box of 100. I'm really impressed with Coverlet's quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST BANDAGE FOR RUNNERS!!!!! (and everyone else), October 4, 2010
This review is from: Coverlet Latex-Free Adhesive Dressings Strips - 1 inch X 3 Inches,100 / Box (Health and Beauty)
Absolutely PERFECT bandage, and I am very picky. I am a distance runner, and no other bandage even comes close to how well these perform. They do not slide, even after 15+ miles, have cloth/linen wings that are very flexible and stretchy (unlike the 'plastic' bandaid brand), and come in a variety of sizes (though I usually just purchase the 100 count box of 1x3, and double up if I have to cover a larger area). This way it's cheaper than buying multiple box sizes, since it takes a while to get through 100 bandages anyway. I've even found that they will stay on for a few days without needing replaced (though I wouldn't recommend this). The only potential negative I could see is that sometimes the 'gumminess' of the adhesive is left behind; however, this is a small price to pay to actually have something that works. I cannot stress enough how these have changed my running life. These are also suitable for blister prophylaxis, ie. if you're wearing your summer sandals for the first few times and your feet aren't used to them. I also backpack, and these are perfect for that as well. I would also highly recommend '2nd skin' gel squares for runners and hikers and for larger, 'juicier' blisters to give them an extra bit of cushion. I prefer 2nd skin to moleskin, if you can afford it, but regardless the Coverlet bandages are a staple.

I agree with all of the postings that these are one of the best adhesive strips out on the market as far as sticking, holding, protecting your cuts with great flexibility, however, I'm not quite certain if it's just me but, there must be something in the adhesive which I'm extremely allergic to. I know I'm allergic to latex and, these are latex free so, it can't be related to the latex... once I put these on, I develop a very bad rash which drives me insane with unbearable itching. Not quite certain if I've just developed extremely sensitive skin in my old age but, these itch so bad, I can't help but scratching to the point were I may make myself bleed. I have to remove them and use a different brand, rendering these useless. If it weren't for the rash or itching I develop, I'd definitely give these 5 stars.

These are the best fabric bandages out there. They will remain on your body even if they are fully immersed in water (like wash the blood off your hands). The actual pad is smaller than usual.
