Disregard the comments of a reader from Iowa. I don't know which video he/she saw, but it wasn't this one. That one makes CV out to be a bigot or otherwise ridiculous misrepresentation of the man and nothing could be further from the truth.

As to the video, provides indepth physiological information to the working of fat storage and burning within the body. This information is invaluable to people who want to make intelligent and informed decisions about their lifestyle and diet. I've rewatched this video at least a 1/2 dozen times and recommend it to everyone I care about as a must see!

This is probably the best and most informative lecture on weight loss I've ever seen. If you're tired of dieting fads and want to know the truth about how your body processes food and stores fat(and more importantly, how to effectively burn that fat), this is the video to own. It's informative and really entertaining. The truth shall set you free!

This video is extremely informative as he explains all the ups and downs of weight loss and weight gain; he shows you how and why they occur and what you can do about it once and for all. Forget the fad diets you're just wasting your money; listen to someone who can truly help you for a change. I've enjoyed this video for the last 3 years and I can't say enough about this wonderful man who has changed my life!

Since this video came out on PBS, I have included it in my college teaching of anatomy & physiology--so many times that it finally wore out! What a simple and easy way to learn about the connection between exercise and its effect on FAT. Explains not only which exercise is best, but why. Bailey's humor is easy and appealing. I am buying another copy to show to the high school students I teach now. If you teach, it can be an invaluable teaching tool.

Bailey is a genus and was so far ahead of his time. This series has convinced my husband that he needs to lose weight and given him tools by which to succeed.

A fast moving video with excellent computerized visuals and explanations make fitness physiology understandable! Unfortunately Covert's sense of humor relies on attempts to mimic ethnic groups, putdowns, and trite one liners, which may be offensive to some listeners.
