Even though this game has a rating of Mature, it should be very appealing to younger gamers. The controls are simple, though if you're an older gamer, watch out(you may feel a little limited). You can crouch, roll left or right, spin around(180 degrees), use the action button to climb or jump from train to train and you can also use triangle to look around, without being noticed(You can also run). Though do not be fooled, for you cannot strafe. Your crosshair can only allow you to hit the ennemy in one certain area, which gets you annoyed after a while. It is occasionally hard to angle your person properly in order to get the crosshair on the ennemy. The graphics are very nice and you person actually has a normal face. The sound is a little old, though the music helps set the mood. Fans of metal gear solid and the resident evil series, would like this game. It mixes the memos, the inventory and the puzzles of resident evil with the stealth, action(punching also) and radio of metal gear. There are 7 different endings to keep you playing through 3 difficulties. There are also little surprises when you finish the game with the appropriate ending. Very fun game.(4/5 is not my rating.I give this game a nice 8.2/10)

The movies in the game are action packed and full of excitement. However, the faces look like acid was thrown on them. Now in the game, nothing could be better. The graphics are clean, no acid faces, the control is like Resident Evil but you don't have to hold R2 to point the gun. It does it automatically. He holds it like Snake Solid on Metal Gear Solid. In a review I saw, they said there WAS an option to turn OFF THE BLOOD. If you like the armed forces then I highly recommend it. This game is so action packed, you'll have to go to bed early cause it'll wear you out. (not literaly)But I do highly recommend this game for everyone.

Well originally Metal Gear Solid was my favorite game then i went out and ordered this hard to find game. It turned out to be my favorite game. There is a little bit less action then Metal Gear but every time there is action there is usually alot of it. The problems are hard to figure out because there are many individual itmes you may miss. It has a great story line. The best mini games like shooting down helicopters or driving a train. You also get to disarm nuclear warheads. This game may seem to have annoying controls but once you get used to them they're really good. It has about 5 or 7 different endings on 3 difficulties. The game includes many very cool cutscenes throughout it and features about 10 weapons. Some of the weapons are your pistol like the one shown on the cover an MP5 machine gun, Grenades, an Assult Rifle, and many more. The music sets the tone in the whole game and they always scare you somehow whether its a frozen body or a badguy sneakin up behind you or even a badguy jsut yelling at you this game i give a rating of 5 STARS and is a definite buyer for all the poeple that enjoyed Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil or Syphon Filter.

This Game Is Cool!,

Covert ops Nuclear Dawn is one of my favorite games.I just got it yesterday. It's a lot like Metal gear solid. Most of the time you have to get cules to figure out passcodes and where things are.The game is mostly about stopping a nuclear bomb and saving a Ambassador and his family. There are 10 different wepons that you can use in the game. The wepon you start out with is a handgun. This is one of my favorite games.

At first glance, one would say that this game looked fun, even though the "one person on a mission against many who want you dead" plot has been used many times before. I bought the game, and within 15 minutes, I was disgusted. Within 12 hours, it was returned to the shop where I purchased it (a record!). As previously stated, the plot is a bit jaded. However, some games can take an old formula and make it work, this one did not. A rescue mission on a train is a somewhat fresh premise, but running from car to car for unclear reasons gets very old VERY FAST. The A.I. of enemy commandos is borderline idiotic, and very predictable. The graphics are horridly grainy, and the sound is at best, so-so. Voice acting is bad, and overdone. However, the intro movies and cut scenes were pretty good, so I had to give two stars. If you want a "man on a mission" game, check out the Syphon Filter saga, or Metal Gear Solid. For the ultimate in "covert ops", check out the Rainbow Six series (PC version). If you want bad acting, get the original Resident Evil. If you want to waste time and money or expect a great action title, only to be let down hard, buy Covert Ops...

I though this game was pretty well made. Every choice you make may determin the outcome of your game. I didnt think the camera angels were to bad. The controls wernt bad also in my opinion. The story was pretty sweet and the game was quite long its on 2 discs. I would recommand this if you like stelther games and such. If your more of the unreal tournment person iwouldnt recommand it. But i am both

OK, Not really worth it.,

The game is a one timer. Best for rental. The action is ok the first time around but gets old.It isnt much of a challenge at all. Easily beaten in 6 hours.I found that the puzzles were simple and rather stupid. You run back and forth on a train you are trying to keep from making its destination ,and ,you always encounter a baddy in the same exact spot you met the first one you killed. The card keys are annoying to keep seperated and the game has terrible camera angles and graphics. The storyline also reminded me of Under Siege 2. The background music is fairly displeasing(extremely annoying). I sat there playing the game hoping it would evolve but it [didn't]. I dont mean to be angular, but i wish i hadnt bought it. This is just my opinion, but i suggest you take the advice. RENT FIRST.(cant find it ,dont bother.)

WORST GAME EVER,

being a huge fan of resident evil and metal gear, i picked up this title as soon as it hit the shelf. and let me tell ya was i disapointed. lets see, whats wrong with this game... first of all the camera angle is imposible. more often than not, you find yourself being shot at from enemies off screen. secondly the controls are difficult to get use to making it impossible to fight the later bosses. The graphics are good and the cg scene are pretty sweet but why couldn't they animate the characters' mouths moving as well. and one more thing the entire story takes place on a train. thats it! the corridors are different for different sections but its the same layout. and it get repetitive real quick. You go to car 8 and find out you need something on car 1, back and forth. There are a few minigames that are pretty neat, but i wouldn't spend ... for minigames. to put it succinctly, nuclear dawn turn out to be a major nuclear disaster no where near the caliber of resident evil or metal gear.

I bought this thinking it would be something like Resident Evil but it turned out awful. The camera angle is often akward, and it seems like your going through the same train car the entire game. DON'T BUY!
