Looks great but the birds don't seem to like it. They appear very skittish to land on the perches. Perches seem to be too close to the glass of the window. Had A see thru feeder for 20 years till it rotted and they loved that one. They could eat from the center where there was a one way viewing mirrored glass. So they were not frightened. This one they are too frightened to even land.

I love this feeder! It is by far the best made window fg it for eeder I've ever purchased. The perches are too small for the jays, but just right for the smaller songbirds I was hoping to feed. Even the suction cubs are a higher quality - not to mention that having 6 stations is AWESOME. I also broke a perch on the feeder, and the company that makes these just could not have been nicer about helping me replace the part. The only down side? The little birds love this feeder so much that they can sometimes go through the all the seed in a single day. And it holds a LOT of seed.
I'm ordering my second one right now.

I am reordering this feeder. It is by far the best window feeder we have found. After about five years and many valiant squirrel efforts, the one we have is beginning to break down. The population is constant and varied. It holds much seed. While the birds initially were skittish because they see us, that ceased to be a problem long ago. A major plus is that it is much harder for squirrels to reach than box-style feeders. Finally, in the last month, a squirrel has begin dropping about 6 feet to reach it (with many failures but enough success to damage it); I'm improvising s slanted roof to foil him before installing the successor. This has been a great success for us.

Great bird feeder! Really quality construction and looks just great. BUT. For me? It proved to be too much. With 6 squabbling finches at 6 feeding stations, 2 more on top and 2 on the window sill waiting their turn? It was basically a riot going on. I'd love this feeder in a 4 (or even a 2) perch model.
