I bought this pair of boot with my cowboy outfit.
These boots have an authentic look but are made of thin and soft plastic. They are suitable for one time halloween costume wearing or western photo sessions but not for prolonged use. For the same price you can buy a more durable pair of boots at a department store clearance section.

I need a size 14 cowboy boot for a theater production. I was surprise with the quality for the cheap price I paid.

O.K. So they are fake leather but have you seen the prices for genuine leather Cowboy boots? Especially a size 14! A comfortable pair could cost up to $200.00. I had to repair the right heal since it is assembled with a plastic "Tong & Grove" type snap on system which a little silicon glue fixed right up. I actually used plumbers glue. The design is nice and if it were leather these boots would be as I previously stated be in the 200 dollar range. I have been wearing them outdoors for 6 weeks of performing in an outdoor theater and I have walked through a lot of dust, dirt & sand. I have been cleaning them after each performance and I use instant polish due to the fact that it is fast, does the job and I am always rushing. A bit of knowledge/advise, unless the boots are advertised as being leather than they are constructed from man made materials. This information was provided by the distributor/manufacturer of these boots since I was "Pissed" when I discovered that they were not "real leather." But I eventually learned that saving $150 dollars is important and until I start driving a Corvette and swimming laps in my indoor pool these fake leather boots will have to do! By Craig Barr.
