This was another great anime tape, but not the height of Bebop genius. In the first episode, 'Jamming with Edward' the crew expands as Ed, a girl hacker from earth, joins the Bebop because of a promise made to her in exchange for help catching a bounty. She's a great character full of blood sugar and spice. The animator's always do an excellent job drawing her simple yet over the top expressions. Although a child character is commonly placed to round the harsh corners of a story, Ed is not only sweet but vicious and territorial like an animal when situations force her. She is more of a clown/wild card then a dampening force inside the stories. Ed's voice actress doesn't do justice to her Japanese counterpart; this is the only time I can say that about almost any dub voices in recent anime. For the first time in the series we are introduced to the Earth of 2071, a burned out, damaged reminant of its past glory. The second episode deals with Jet's past life and love on Ganymede. 'Ganymede Elegy' is a decent, although simplistic story explaining and concluding Jet Black's back story leading up to Bebop (but this won't be the last time we see his past in the series). Sweet, touching, complex and insightful personalities and situations give the latter episode on the tape a very emotive almost soap-oreraesqe feeling. Good stuff all 'round. Better episodes are coming.

As it said, a must see. I own all the cowboy bebop episodes and I must say that it is an amazing series with great graphics. Also with Spike, the main person, who just oozes the coolness. But I have to say that Edward Wong Hau Pepilu Trivuski the 4 is my favorite characture. She is too cool 4 words. One crazy hacker you don't want abord your ship!

A cute Anime kid that is not overly obnoxius! Edward is a great character that is fun to watch. Will wonders never cease..
