The Sky View Ranch is in continuous operation since 1933 in DeSoto Mo. When my grandparents moved here, it was the depression and nearby Desoto was a small railroad town. These recipes have been handed down in our family now for four generations. Most of these are recipes from my grandmother who was cooking everyday at the Ranch. A few are from neighbors, friend s and other relatives who shared their best recipes with her. These recipes are not fancy glamorous recipes but just good down home cooking that everyone will enjoy. I hope you enjoy our family recipes from the Sky View Ranch.
