Cowboy Casanova, the first single off of Carrie's highly anticipated third album Play On, is full of crunchy guitars, slick fiddles, and sassy vocals. Not since Shania Twain has a single been so mainstream and yet so country at the same time. This song, however, is far beyond Twain's reach since Underwood possesses something that no one in country, or anywhere in music for that matter, have: one of the biggest, most beautiful voices in the world. This song allows Underwood to showcase her range as well as her sass, and she sounds sexy singing. I look forward to hearing more.

Carrie Underwood's first single from her soon to be released "Play On" album is superb. I have eagerly awaited the release of Carrie's first single, and she certainly didn't disappoint. Cowboy Casanova is a fun, upbeat song. I think it will give "Before He Cheats" by Carrie competition for a long run on the charts. Love both songs.

Carrie has done it again with her extraordinary talent and artistry. I think she has taken a valuable lesson from Shania in reinventing herself constantly. It is surprising that she chose an upbeat song for her lead single. Personally, I felt it would be a ballad which I am sure will be in the mix of Play On. Carrie is just as dynamic with her sassy side as with her beautiful moving ballads. Can't wait for the release of her new cd if CC is representative of what is to come! Carrie, you are truly beautiful!

It's been so long since a new single from Carrie and I just think she's playing her kind of music. Country has so many flavors and Carrie's albums always have a great mix to them. I can't wait for November 3rd and Play On to be available. I think Cowboy Casanova is great. There are fast songs, slow songs and everything in between on the radio today...this fits in. Great job!!!!

Carrie has done it again!!!! Love this song!! Sassy and fun..and there is no one that even touches the voice of Carrie Underwood!! This girl can sing anything!! Bravo Carrie!! #1 written all over it!!

This is a wonderful song for Ms. Underwood. Absolutely love it. One of the best yet. It is so catchy!!!

Carrie Underwood has a way of selling a song and she wraps her musicality around these fun and sassy lyrics. Writing her own great tunes like this one bodes well for her new album PLAY ON where she said she wrote over half the songs. The new CD will be released Nov 3 by the way - this is upbeat and great to dance to - can't find anything wrong with it!

This song is incredible! I think Carrie has surpassed even herself on the vocals and songwriting of this song. It is fun, catchy, and has a bluesy, rock feel that reminds me a bit of Shania Twain, in a good way! Carrie has an ability to really show her sassy side on the right song, and this is the right song. I cannot wait to see the rest of her album! Rock on Carrie! You are still the Queen! :)
