Although Jared Banning a widower is an internal medicines doctor he had worked with his now deceased psychologist brother, Grayson long enough to learn not all wounds are visible. Jared's wife killed herself, so he has been dealing with both her death, the death of his only brother and his brother's widow Lucy as well as her two kids, and trying to continue his practice he and his brother started.

So he meets Kit, and he falls head over heels in love with her.

Only Kit is being threatened by a maniac and so with the help of a private eye, Jared finds out who the culprit is. But he knows Kit won't believe him, so he has her call and talk to the person and listen to the reaction she gets.

Meanwhile Kit stays undercover as Linda and falls in love with Jarod. A true hero.

This book made me laugh, cry and feel all warm and fussy inside.

This book was one of her funniest that i have read so far that when i received it i had to go out and find more of her books so now every time one of her books are out I'm at the bookstorre looking for them
