This is one of my favorite Gary Cooper movies. He is that sweet, honest, gentleman as usual, and ever so handsome, also as usual. Merle Oberon is his match in this movie. She's outgoing, beautiful, and very much in love with this rodeo cowboy. It's a funny, family movie.

I saw this moving about 20 years ago and fell in love with it. I have been waiting for it to come out in DVD format and could not believe my eyes when I saw it today. Gary Cooper and Merle Oberon are enchanting and very heartwarming in this film. It's a movie you will want to watch over and over again. If movies about love get to you, it will make you cry at the end. It touches your heart. I can hardly wait to receive my copy so I can enjoy it all over again. I highly recommend this movie for anyone who likes a good love story.

If you like Gary Cooper you will love this movie. I remember watching this movie as a kid so I had to buy it. I can watch it over and over and not get tired of it.

This was the first Gary Cooper movie I ever saw and is by far my favorite. It was such a joy to watch including both a love story and humor too. Gary Coopers character had such a gentle and tender quality and yet he could make you laugh. I never knew Gary Cooper could say so much with a facial expression. He and Merle Oberon made a beautiful couple. I have been looking for this movie for more than 10 years and finally...

Our family has been waiting "forever" for this movie to come out on DVD! Such a charming and adorable story. Cooper and Oberon have fantastic chemistry! It would be a great double billing with The Bride Came C.O.D. starring James Cagney and Betty Davis. Or triple billing with It Happened One Night staring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. All three movies have a spoiled heiress being charmed by either a cowboy, pilot, or reporter. All three movies are positively first rate and a joy to watch!

The Cowboy and The Lady Was one of the cutest and Romantic movie I have ever seen. I was not into the movies of the thirtys that much before until lately, there are a lot of good ones out there,when i watch the cowboy and the lady i was very surprise to see how good it was ,and what beautiful clothes Merle oberon wore ,it would be something you would ware now, her and Gary Cooper were very good in the movie they had great chemistry together, I was glad i found the movie on DVD.give the movie a try you will be glad you did.

This movie is my all time favorite in classic movies. Gary Cooper is at his best and so is Merle Oberon. It is a must to anyone's movie collection!
