Rafe Kellard is a bronc busting, bull riding cowboy -- Uh-huh! one nasty bull tried to do him in. Now he needs to save his ranch and its water rights.Carly Jamison is the love of his life who walked out on him 8 years ago because Rafe wouldn't or couldn't settle down. So she became a lawyer. Rafe has to deal with his misbegotten idea that he is not worthy of love or marriage material -- husband or father wise. Too much like his father?? Rafe Kellard's secluded ranch became a place of healing and comfort for Carly and her son, Evan. Also where Rafe denied and yet learned the secret of Carly's son. This proud, solitary man had to learn acceptance and forgiveness and how to deal with love. [grin - they can't keep their hands off each other]. You will love this story and its inevitable outcome.
