Troy Ledger had five sons. Five men born in Texas but then scattered after their father was imprisoned for the murder of their mother. Now Troy is out of prison and his middle son, Dylan, is back in Texas. But the problems are far from over.
As Troy struggles to adjust to his life outside of prison, Dylan finds himself volunteering to protect Collette McGuire, daughter of the sheriff who arrested his father. As their attraction grows, so does the hostility between their fathers. Troy believes the sheriff manipulated the evidence, landing him in prison. He won't let the sheriff do the same thing to his son.
But that struggle takes a back seat to the danger threatening Collette. A stalker's threats are growing, leading to two attempts on her life. Despite the sheriff's disapproval, Dylan's not about to let her out of his sight.
Cowboy Swagger is the first of five books in the Sons of Troy Ledger series that Joanna Wayne wrote for the Harlequin Intrigue line. I highly recommend it for an enjoyable read that will make you wonder how the hero and heroine will ever end up happily ever after.

I enjoyed the book written by Joanna Wayne, the start of another series about cowboys and the way cupid convinces these "No not me!" to take a dive into real romance, caring and love for a lifetime.
