Keeping "it" in the family....,
By
This review is from: Cowboy Boots and Unfinished Business (Siren Publishing Menage Amour) (Kindle Edition)
Warning this has spoilers.....When you read what the book is about you think that their lover is not in this book the entire time. As a genre and with the first book in this series, I wasn't expecting that the lover that they left behind in Italy to be the sister in this scenario. That pretty much ruined it for me. The sister was dying and married to and in love with these men for most of the book-having very well described sex. However, the book is about the sister...and she hears this go on...and then towards the end when she dies she just says "I want you to be their lover and marry them." What? Like 60% of the book was devoted to Kelsie being married to these men. The relationship with Veronica is secondary. There was even a part where the men are having sex together as a group with Kelsie, and Veronica walks by and watches, and gets turned on by it? After she started feeling the attraction for these men? Call me crazy, but what woman in her right mind would crush on a man, but be thrilled to pieces to watch him screw his wife (Who happens to be her sister!) I understand that it is just a book, and a fantasy, but where is the romance in that? That's not hot! That made weird for me, and I lost interest fast. However, many other people could possibly like the weirdness of ...."keeping it in the family."

4 Hearts from TRS!,

I am almost at a loss and to how describe how I felt reading this book. There is so much to it. The four alpha male brothers each with a distinct personality and Veronica the tough but lonely woman who finds herself in love with the unattainable men. I know the premise of the story sound highly unrealistic, especially with so many dominant males fighting for the same woman at times. But the author makes it work and gives us a sexually charged entertaining read. The plot did occasionally get bogged down in the sexual innuendos flying around and I wish I could have had a little bit more understanding of the agency and a little more in depth on the men's lover but the book is what it is. It is an erotic read about a woman and four men and some BDSM and makes no excuses. So for lovers of this type of genre, this is a good book to read. The sex scenes are hot and racy and leave you fanning yourself, especially if you are into the dominant male lover scenes. I hope the author continues to write more books into the series and maybe bring back the characters from previous books again so we can see how they are faring. - Ana
