A gentle romance makes a good memorial for Pamela Macaluso.,

This review is from: Cowboy Who Came In From The Cold (Desire) (Paperback)
Pamela Macaluso's book starts off in a snow storm which strands Patrice Caldwell in a line shack with Stone Garrett. The rancher was sent by the sheriff to rescue the city girl when she put her sporty little convertible in the ditch. She has no idea how long they'll be there, nor what can happen in a week. Although possible to fall into cliches with this plot, Pam avoids them deftly and gives us two passionate and rather bewildered people who never saw love coming until it was too late to avoid it. This is Pam's last book. She and her two children were the victims of domestic violence. All of us who enjoyed her romances will truly miss her.
