Product Description

Macro tubes moves the lens farther away from your film or digital sensor, transforming your lens into a macro lens. The extension tube contains no optics or mirrors inside, so the quality of your image is not impacted.

This macro extension tube set is suitable for all Canon cameras. There are multiple rings, allowing you to easily change the focus length of the tube, and therefore the magnification as well.

The ring that attaches to the camera does not screw in right with the second ring. As a result, when testing the product my lens fell off my camera and my brand new lens almost broke and got all scratched.
In addition, the ring that attaches to the lens got stuck to the lens and it was really hard to get it off.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DAMAGE YOUR CAMERA OR LENS.

Works great and seems solid for its price. Some people don't know what this does or how is supposed to be used and give it bad ratings, they are wrong for complaining when they don't know the limits of their cameras but again they aren't obligated to understand and know. So, this item gives you the advantages of a macro lens with out having one. I mounted all rings to a 50mm f/1.2 and works well, also mounted an 85mm f/1.4 with great results. I tried a 17-35mm f/2.8 but with all rings and couldn't get it to focus on anything.

Good product, good price, is compatible with Nikon D3000. Well I recommend it.
I tested and 100% went well, I'm amateur and I try every day with different themes, it's crazy what you can do. I'm happy with the results.

This extention tube set works as promissed, sturdy construction, nice feel, but more importantly, it works for its intended purpose. There will be no electronic link between your camera and your lense, so you will need to set you F stop manually with the 'depth of field' button before detaching the lens from the camera(see your users manual ... or online video tutorials).
with all 3 rings + the canon 50mm f 1.8 mkII I fill the viewfinder of my 60D with a canadian dime(no zoom), and can distinuish the hairs on a masquitos wings on a cropped veiw to give you an idea of the maginificantion qualities.
The magnification qualities of the ring assembly are for macro ONLY and will not apply to anything furthur from your lense.
basically, these rings + the cannon 50mm f1.8 mk II (plastic fantastic) will make the cheepest macro rig you can peice together and give you GREAT results ! the rings will work with other lens' as well, for for economy, sharpness and speed I prefer the 50mm prime.

So I read a lot of bad reviews about these extension tubes. They're all incorrect. If you understand how to use manual extension tubes and what happens when you use them these are a grea buy. Just a heads up to all you Nikon users out there. G mount lenses won't work you need to be able to open and close your aperture manually. I use these with my 50 millimeter 1.8 d mount lens and it works perfectly

Extremely basic and lightweight construction - exactly what you should expect for the price. No lens info pass through so you'll get best results when you use a lens that lets you set the aperture manually (on the lens itself.)

It didn't fit my camera a Nikon D40 and I am sure the add said it would. It would attach but the camera would not read it.
