The Cowboy's Hidden Agenda,
By Betsy Lord (Castle Creek, NY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Cowboy's Hidden Agenda (The Sisters Waskowitz) (Silhouette Intimate Moments, 1004) (Paperback)
For years I have not read many of the Silhouette Intimate Moments books because I thought they were "fluffy type love stories" not something you could sink your teeth in an really get carried away with the story. I absolutely loved this book. It has strong sensual characters. Johnny is a renegade "Apache" cowboy and Laurie is a lawyer from a very well to do political Texas family. Johnny is working undercover for the goverment in the Son's of Liberty a militant organization who kidnaps Laurie because her father is about to be nominated for President of the United States. As the story progress Laurie notices that Johnny is not at all what he seems. Both have a problems in their pasts that are family oriented and they slowing become aware of each other and begin to open their hearts and learn to trust and love one an other. Ms. Creighton has written an exciting and romantic story - could not put it down until I finished it. Great book - Enjoy
