This portable pop up room is perfect for my outdoor shoots.
I have bought from Cowboystudio before on Ebay and always feel confident in my decisions to purchase from them. There is a continuous problem with lack of instructions with their items even though they have high quality products. You may have to figure some stuff out on your own. it took me an extremely long time fighting with this thing to get it folded back up, so if you buy one, please notice how it is packed before you pop it open, this may help you in being able to fold it back up. If information had been included on how to repack the thing, I would have give 5 stars. But it's very frustrating and difficult when you don't know how to fold it back up and you have to fight with it. It's also unproffessional in front of your clients to be fighting with it like you don't know what you are doing.

It does what I need it too at the beach but it is not as easy to close down as others that I have used from actual sporting good stores in the past. Did not come with any directions either which makes it more difficult.

Items works great...BUT it comes without instructions on how to fold back into the pouch...it needs a pamphlet with instructions.

I bought one of these and it arrived today. A quick search on internet gave me a link to the video I want to share with you;

Search on Youtube for : How to fold a changing tent - Cowboystudio.com and it should be the first video it finds.

(These comments do not accept links)

Now stop complaining about instructions. (Try to write these instructions down... nearly impossible that's why the video) But I agree they should add a little piece of paper with the link to make it easy.

I purchased this for my extremely modest child. It is perfect for us and paired with our rolling Dream Duffel we need nothing else for quick costume changes. Our Dream Duffel stool fits inside perfectly for the times when we need to keep clothes off less than clean floors. The dressing room fits inside our Dream Duffel tutu bag which clips securely to the outside of the rolling bag and frees my hands. My favorite part of this portable studio is how even I can fit inside the studio to help my child change into and out of challenging costumes.

I recently purchased this to use as a privacy tent at a concert for tailgating. We used it instead of several other "portable bathroom tents" that were double the price. This worked perfectly for us and we had no problems putting it back in the package after watching the suggested youtube video. Would recommend this product and will be using it in the future for camping and concerts as a changing/potty tent.

I am a photographer and had another brand of "pop up room in a bag" for about four years and it finally needed to be replaced. I had this new one for about a month and although it appeared to be made well, it is already ripping after only a month and light wear. I was surprised to find out that so many people were complaining about the difficulty in folding this up because my old one was a piece of cake. Now I understand. I was a pro with the "pop up room in bag" but I realized that it was about a foot shorter which makes a huge difference. This product is extremely difficult to fold up and even after a month I have not gotten the hang of it. I was very disappointed.

This unit sets up easily and provides a great impromptu changing room for photoshoots. I used this on several senior photoshoots and it proved to be very valuable. Locations I used this were a large open field next to a horse ranch with no public bathrooms, a public park where we were a good 1/2 mile from bathrooms or other facilities, and a small park near the downtown of a quaint local village.

If instructions or a link with their Youtube video was included I'd give it a 5. Without that video its very difficult to fold back up.
There also seem to be little worn spots or light spots in the fabric. I'm hoping they are not weak spots, but we will see over time.
Just a little piece of paper with a link to site to see how it folds would be great.

This product basically does the job, however it could be better.

Very lightweight and portable. It folds together similar to a large reflector into a flat circle. It takes some practice to do so though. Watching youtube videos is highly recommended to learn how to do it. There are no instructions on how to fold the portable studio. The material is very black and impossible to see through when I first received it. However, after several uses, I've noticed that the black material on the walls of the product is very thin. It is easily damaged and torn. After several uses, you can start seeing thread coming off. It's similar to a very cheap, thin bed sheet.

Another thing I do not like is the fact that there is no roof. The top is completely exposed and uncovered. This isn't usually a problem unless you are in an area with buildings surround you and there are possibly people looking from above.

On the floor, however, has a black material floor. Some other pop up studios do not have a floor, but they have a roof instead. It's basically a compromise. Covered roof vs covered floor. i would prefer to have both but oh well.

Another great feature is that there are pockets in the bottom of the portable studio meant to place weights to hold the studio down. I have never used it as it requires me to take the weights out after using the tent . I would rather just hold it down myself until the model is done changing. The weights would be useful though if you planned on leave the tent up for a while. However for my uses, it's quickly to set it up, let model change, then tear it down and fold it up right away.

overall, this product is cheap and a good value. Don't expect it to last for too long too though. There are other products out there which cost tons more, but they will hopefully last longer with better quality.
