Filled with fun recipes and nostalgic looks back at the heyday of the cowgirl era, this book celebrates the wild women of the Old West. From "Fit for a Queen Green Chili Soup" to "Cowgirl Margaritas," Cowgirl's Cookbook is fun to puruse and to will be excellent to use for a cowgirl-themed girls night or campout.
Howdy to all the Cowgirls (and Cowboys too!) out there who have taken the time to click on my biography.
I am a writer who lives, write, cooks and rides in Central Oregon.
I've been a professional writer since 1985.
In addition to The Cowgirl's Cookbook, I have written Going It Alone; Getting Your Goat: The Gourmet Guide; Lamb Country Cooking and my newest book, WIld Women and Tricky Ladies ( a history of women trick riders) will be out August, 2010.
The cover artist did this painting you see instead of a mug shot -- it's called "Cowgirl Jill 1" and I treasure it!
I have plans for another book and I'll get started on it when the snow flies. Of course, it will be about Cowgirls. Write about what you know is always the best advice.
Thanks for reading this -- I hope you enjoy my books. I enjoy writing them!
