JetAudio is Cowon's official retailer for North America.

Cowon's media players have the best sound quality out of anything on the market, with the second spot going to Creative's mp3 players. The sound card is superior to the sound cards in the Dell XPS and HP Envy, which are popular multimedia laptops. I would say that it sounds as good as a standard Creative Sound Blaster card for a desktop.

All-plastic construction, but doesn't feel cheap. Has a toy-like feel and fits nicely in your hand. For me, I have problems holding it with one hand because of how big the screen is in relation to the touch area. The top and bottom center buttons are used to navigate through menus and various swiping motions can be used to scroll through menus.

I was blown away with the sound quality of the bundled earphones. They don't sound fuzzy or tinny like those made by Apple or other MP3 player manufacturers. They're not perfect, but they work well for everyday usage.

Battery life is very good. With my configuration I can get up to 12 hours on one charge, and I frequently play FLAC files and have a Jet Effect on.

Supports all standard music file formats. None of Apple's formats work (AAC, ALAC, and AIFF)
The player supports Ogg vorbis music files, which is great. Strangely, the player cannot read Vorbis comments from my experience. Track listings under the album view will be sorted by title instead of track, so you have to listen to .ogg and flac files from the folder view if you want them to appear in the correct order.

*If you're unfamiliar with these types of files (which includes FLAC) it is an open-source alternative to MP3.

This is my first Cowon player and after hearing how good the sound quality is I see way they get such good reviews. I got the i10 to use it for mp3's and loss-less audio formats and for that is perfect. The Jeteffects 3.0 and BEE+ that all Cowons use is amazing and really enhances the music 10 fold (as long as you have good quality ear phones and good recordings). The UI is simple and easy to use and does just what it needs to and nothing more. The "Color Therapy" is nothing more than color combos and is just a gimmick but it takes nothing away from how good the player is. Also the load time for songs is the fastest of any mp3 player I own. A 75min album at 320kbs loads in likw 15 seconds. I'am now a Cowon lover and once my Etymotic Research HF5 get here than my musical bliss will really begin.

I don't use my Cowon for anything other than music, so my review will focus on the music aspect and user interface. When I bought this player, I wanted two things: excellent sound quality and a decent user interface. While I got the former, I didn't get the latter.

First, the sound quality: Like virtually anyone who gets their hands on a Cowon, I was immediately blown away by the sound. I've yet to encounter a player (and I've had many) that tops Cowon in sound quality, and certainly at this price. Cowon offers 32 audio presets, all of which are excellent. But what's really impressive are the four customizable user presets; each user preset includes a customizable EQ, plus six effects for maximizing your sound. This, along with the sound quality, is by far my favorite feature on the player.

And now, the interface: The user interface is poorly designed and not intuitive. The somewhat glitchy touch buttons and the poorly placed menus make it difficult to navigate through the player. I've had my Cowon for a few months now, and sometimes I still hit the wrong buttons. Furthermore, the menus are a tad slow, making the overall feel of the interface sluggish. (With a screen that big, I wonder why Cowon didn't just make this a touch screen player. Or, to make life easier, just add physical buttons to avoid the glitchiness of touch buttons.) And speaking of buttons, the awkward placement of the touch buttons in relation to the large, narrow screen makes it uncomfortable to hold the player in hand.

Three stars for the excellent sounding, but poorly designed Cowon iAUDIO 10. If sound quality is what you're looking for, and you don't mind the bad design features, buy this player.

I recieved my iAUDIO 10 about a week ago. Pluged it into my computer, simple drag and drop to load your music files. Turned it on, pluged in good head phones and WOW! The sound that comes out of this thing will drop your jaw. If you are looking for something that playes high quality music files such as FLAC. Stop looking, you have found it. I loaded both FLAC and Mp3 files into this Cowon and no problems with either one. Yes the UI is a little clunkier than an Apple product but its not that bad. If you enjoy high quality music, This Cowon produces in a big way! You cant make a phone call on it, or surf the net, But boy will your music sound great. Great purchase for me.

This is my first Cowon player and I am completely impressed by the quality of sound. It has a bright screen size and a decent resolution to watch videos. The touch is very sensitive and works as expected, navigation experience is not the same as a touch screen player but its pretty close.

Now coming to the music playing capabilities - its just awesome.. The quality of songs are much enhanced and it brings a lot of clarity into lower notes. I always wanted to listen to the pure sounds rather than just loud bass, and this is perfect for that.. It has a good bass output as well. I am currently using Sennheiser HD 238 headphones with these and they are a perfect combination. It also supports loss-less file types so you have much better options to play music. The JetEffect BEE+ is another great feature which enhances your songs.

Navigation is simple and effective, can be done by one hand. The clock and calendar are OK. Supports favorites, playlists, AB Repeat. Doesn't have any games but has radio and voice recording features. Battery backup is nice. Overall a very good product and goes well with ease of handling becoz of the curved back design.
