I've flown with Artie AND read his book - his principles are sound, and I use them every day he flies the back country of Idaho. The important stuff is boiled down to easy to remember mnemonics so they can be recited at the appropriate times - pre landing, before takeoff, etc.; In short, great, easy to read source of info that's hard to come by - well worth the time to read it.
