Cozy Cuddler Total Body Pregnancy Pillow

Okay, I'm somewhat exaggerating, but this pillow is the BEST. Unlike the snoogle or other C-shaped pillows, this one is contoured to fit a pregnant woman's body. The rectangular part at the top serves as a regular pillow for your head, and the long part of it can go either behind you, down your back, or in front of you, depending on which way you lie. The long part is also contoured with a little "lip" that either fits perfectly into the small of your back or right above the pregnant belly, depending on which way you're facing. The curved part at the bottom goes between your thighs to keep your back aligned properly, and the curly little "tail" part goes under your body, either right above your hips or right at the top of your belly. Either way, your belly is cushioned and "cuddled" very comfortably.

I found out two years ago that I have no disc material in between my lowest vertebrae and am prone to back problems. I have been able to avoid back problems, after first throwing my back out very painfully two years ago, with physical therapy and exercise. But when I got pregnant, I was worried about how it would affect my back as I gained weight, since I'd had back pain during my first pregnancy. I started having back pain while sleeping about 8 weeks ago - but the first night I used this pillow (at 24 weeks), I had NO BACK PAIN at all! I wish I'd bought it sooner!

Also, unlike the snoogle, this product has a cover that has a long zipper on the longest side, so it is no problem to remove the cover and wash it. I've heard complaints about the cover for the snoogle, that it fits on like a sleeve and is therefore hard to remove to wash.

One more thing - I ordered this to be shipped regularly and the manufacturer delivered it to me the next day, so I was able to use it right away. I am very happy with this product. I may use it even after pregnancy!

Once I hit 20 weeks in pregnancy, it became increasingly difficult to get comfortable in bed. I tried propping a pillow under my belly, but the help was only marginal. I looked into a variety of body pillows and I chose this one because of the built-in pillow section for between the knees and it seemed versatile for folding up around my body to breastfeed (when the time comes). I use the pillow to sleep on my left side, still hugging an additional bed pillow for added belly support. Having the long part of the pillow as a "backstop" is helpful. Some nights I sleep soundly in this position all night. Other times I roll over on my right side and curl myself around the long part of the pillow (I then stuff a bed pillow at my back to get the "backstop" effect). Rolling over isn't graceful - I have to disentangle my legs and get my right arm/shoulder under the long part of the pillow - and the U-shaped pillow may accomplish everything in one (belly support, "backstop" and knee pillow), but for the price of the cozy cuddler I am quite happy to have it (plus it doesn't seem huge in our queen-sized bed).

A good design but better suited for shorter sizes women (under 5'4") b/c can't curl very well under my legs at 5'6. I wish that it was a bit thicker to support the back of my back more. It is has a nice fabric though and I like that it has a normal rectangular pillow shaped part at the top of the cuddler.

Got my pillow yesterday. Very comfortable and had a great night of sleep. I found that I needed to put a standard sized soft pillow in front of me and keep the long part behind me as I am used to sleeping with something soft in front. Loved it and very happy with how fast the shipping was.

This is my second pregnancy pillow. The first was the snoogle which was also a great pillow that lasted though two pregnancies. This time around I went with this pillow because it was on sale for $17!! So far it has been a life saver it isn't a thick pillow it is more of a feather pillow as far as the amount of stuffing and it is flatter (the snoogle was very firm and round). At first I didn't think it would work for me but after two weeks I can't say I've had a bad night's sleep it is just right. I'm 5'5 and I have no issues with the length of the pillow. It is fairly light and it is easier to manage in bed compared to the snoogle.

I really enjoy this pillow. It really is cuddly and I definitely sleep better with it. The only thing I don't like is that as you turn from side to side you have to kind of untangle yourself from it. If I had it to do over again I probably would have bought the Cozy Comfort pillow. Still though, it's certainly a huge improvement over just using a regular pillow. I agree with another reviewer that the pillow is probably best suited to a shorter person; I'm just over 5 feet and I can't imagine it really "fitting" if you were a lot taller.

I got this for my pregnant daughter. She loved it the first few nights, but after less than a week the lining of the pillow ripped in the middle of the fabric (not a seam) where it couldn't really be repaired. Also the curly cue part, even though it was comfortable, kept getting tangled around her legs and she stopped using it after she was afraid she was going to trip on it trying to get up out of the bed. I think I would opt for just the straight ones that look like an over sized bed pillow.

This is a good pillow for encasing and supporting the entire body, pregnant or not. I like that it can sit between my knees and still curl up to my lower back. It's very crinkly though, and doesn't seem to soften after use or time. I don't find it comfortable for my head and having no pillowcase is a bummer.

The pillow case, tho washable, is really not soft at all (low threadcount). I tried fitting a softer pillow case on top, but it does not fit well enough due to the curve at the top. The pillow itself, tho supportive in that it helps me sleep on my side much better, is a little too stiff; sometimes I wake up and feel achy. Also, it takes up about 1/2 of our queen size bed in width. I've slept on this for about two weeks straight, but to avoid feeling so achy, I went back to sleeping on a regular pillow with an extra pillow between my knees.

bought this for my daughter...her first pregnancy but she was complaining of difficulty sleeping comfortably from early in the pregnancy...since she has been using this pillow she claims to have many good nights sleep...great purchase
