This is a fantastic book. I have yet to make a recipe where I am not asked repeatedly for it. Wonderful!

I own several Gooseberry craft/cookbooks, and do the majority of my cooking from them. I have NEVER been disappointed with any recipe I have made. They are simply the best!

The Cozy Home Cookbook, is filled with recipes, decorating ideas, and cute stories certain to bring cheer to you and your family.

Recipes are organized by Season. "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter," and include favorites such as Cabinet Mountain Inn Rolls, Hayride Popcorn & Peanuts, Mother's Pasta Fagioli and Gingered Cranberry Sauce. Each recipe is accompanied by a cute note and a 'woodblock' style illustration.

Bring Cozy Home Cookbook into your home or give it as a gift to a close friend. They'll love it. I heartily recommend all the Gooseberry Patch Books. They are all delightful!!!

Every recipe I have tried in this book is delicious and easy. We go to it all the time for our favorites! Worth every cent!

This is my latest addition to the Gooseberry patch set of cookbooks. Although I own and inherited a number of really great old time cookbooks and recipes from my Mom, I still love to collect new ones. The only thing is when you own as many as I do it's hard to be innovative or feel inspired by anything new at times. This Gooseberry Patch (GP) line of cookbooks are not only made up of some of the most delicious concoctions I have seen in a long time, but a selected few of them don't skimp on of the new fangled bad stuff that we all know and love, but unfortunately should avoid for the most part. This Cozy Home book is not designed or set out to kill you by any means. But it is full of recipes that at times call for generous amounts so fat, butter, salt, and other ingredients that are a no no on most peoples nutritional lists these days. One can always skimp or substitute here and there if you have a mind to, or need to for sure. But make no mistake about it, this great cookbook is chock full of old time goodness that doesn't hold back much. There are plenty of cookbooks out there that are all about saving calories and fat, etc. And you don't have to and shouldn't eat good old fashioned comfort food everyday for sure. But if you enjoy indulging yourself once in a while with something incurably delicious, I highly recommend this GP Cozy Home cookbook. It's not only delectable, but like all Gooseberry Patch books, it is very colorfully and entertainingly laid out and user friendly as well. A big fat 5 star rating of Nom Nom scale... : )

Gooseberry Patch's "The Cozy Home Coookbook" is my year round favorite. Since it covers every season of the year I use it for party ideas, decorating suggestions, and of course recipes from the homes of people like me...folks who just love their home.

These are great cookbooks. As others have written, I am always asked for my recipes when I bring a covered dish somewhere. If you find these books on sale, you will get a steal. I recommend these cook books for all ages. Easy and simple.
