Finally, Jacob Glass has delivered a book that with the humor that makes spiritual lessons easier for us lightweights to grasp. This is like his lectures in the early '90's, when he used to say that the hardest thing he did to prepare his lectures was, "Pick out what I was going to wear." Back then, he provided the mouth and we got the message. Irreverent but relevant. Profane but profound.
As a "spiritual plop book" the idea is to let the book open itself and read the page that appears.
The first page that plopped open for me was the prayer: "Dear God, I assume that You are in control here. I'll be very interested to see how you work this out. If you need me, you know where to find me. Thanks so much. Amen." That works for me.
The second plop page had a word in the title that would cause my mother to throw the book away. "F**k You My Brother" reminded me of an important lesson about how words mold our thoughts.
I really recommend this book. I plan to keep it handy and and plop it when I am perplexed.

I don't know if he would like that... but it's what I tell my friends. He's truly that funny sometimes. One of the many things I love about the writing in this book is that it's not all new age-y and rainbows and peace signs. I mean, I love Louise Hay, but sometimes I need to hear from someone who is closer to my no nonsense mind set. Jacob Glass is able to get through to me like no other teacher has ever been able to. He is funny, soothing, wise.. and just a little bit pushy. I need a pushy teacher to get me up off my spiritually lazy ass and into better and more healthy spiritual habits. This book is something I'm able to pick up at any time of the day or night-- open up and get immediate comfort and help with any problem my crazy ego might be throwing at me. The entries are only a page or two.... but chock full of insight, helping you to turn around and see your predicament, ANY predicament, from a different and more helpful, constructive and SOOTHING perspective. Also, the great thing about these short chapters is that they make for easy multiple readings... and every time you get something different from them. I find after a few readings I'm getting them on a deeper level. This book is a great tool to have on hand to help you get through those "ego attacks" so many of us have throughout the day. Start reading this book and people will notice there is something different about you... you're more centered, calm, you're happier. And nothing has necessarily changed in your life. The outside circumstances may be the same... but you've changed how you look at your life and that is the "real secret"!

This book is a must have for any library. It is filled with practical wisdom for everyday life. It is the best manual on how to live in a physical world as a spiritual being. It will teach you how much power you really possess to be happy and fulfilled. It is delivered in a down-to-earth, wry and sometimes very funny manner in order to make the most profound tenets more palatable. It is designed to read one "Chronicle" a day. Go through it consecutively or flip it open and see what you get. In either case, I think you will agree that the advice and lessons are invaluable.

if you are someone who likes their messages delivered with sarcasm, wit, love, clarity and humor- this is the book for you. open the book to any page and receive the message and direction, you won't be sorry.

I have read Jacob's blog for years after finding his first book while browsing through a Santa Barbara bookstore while on vacation. I wish I lived closer to him because I would attend his lectures regularly (live in the OC). He has been a great spiritual teacher for me, and I think he is right up there with Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer as a spiritual guide. This book is always on my night stand or in my handbag and is well highlighted and underlined. I ready about 4 or 5 books a month and this is one of my top 5 all time favorites. He helps blend the "law of attraction" with surrendering to God's will in a way that actually makes good sense. Plus, he is a very funny, transparently authentic person. He is willing to share his own struggles and imperfections, and in doing so, helps me to accept my own with compassion. I feel like he is a friend although I have never met him! I suggest you read this book through, and then afterwards just pop it open when you need an uplifting message...it always opens to the right spot.

I first learned about Jacob Glass when he filled in for Marianne Williamson's lectures in LA. Jacob is so captivating, adorably funny and incredibly smart. I just didn't want the lecture to end the times ive seen him. About a month ago I bought two copies of" the Crabby Angels Chronicles", one for me and one for my friend. It's the perfect book to give as a gift. I read one page every morning to kick start my day and sometimes one at night, right before bed. This book is very inspiring, keeps me one the right track and helps me stay centered. Jacob tells you how it is with no BS and no sugar coating. its very refreshing and powerful. This is the kind of book you just keep by your bed and when you're done reading it you start all over again from page one. it will never get old.

I have read this book little by little over the past several months and it's given me lots of good information and better ways of looking at things. It's based on A Course In Miracles.

I love Jacob Glass and love, love, love this book.
Need a spiritual bitch slap? Sometimes we all do and I can always count on this book to provide a perspective that helps me straighten out my attitude, because let's face it folks, that's usually what the problem is. Finally someone who speaks in today's language and from a modern context who isn't afraid to say exactly what we need to hear. Bless you JG!

There are book that just touch your spirit, not because they are warm and fuzzy but because it speaks Truth to you while offering joy and laughter... this is one of those books... one that I want and will give away many times as gift... it is a GIFT from Jacob Glass, I believe it came through him for us ALL... Thank you...

This is a great book. I am A Course in Miracles student and so appreciate how Glass sums up the daily reminders and brings the languaging to more modern day speaking. My best friend was not interested in ACIM but also loves this book as a good daily grounding and bringing in peace.
