I like unusual things to make bath time fun for me. The soap is so luxurious with lather I couldn't believe it. The scent is so lovely it perfumed my tiny bathroom as well. I don't think I will ever tire of the smell. It isn't one of those cloying scents, but very fresh and clean. I had always been a believer in milk as a bath item, but I never used it as much as some people I know. Well, I was thrilled after the first use of the soap (and hadn't even put any moisturizer on yet) and my skin felt like a piece of velvet, it was so soft. Needless to say, I really love this product and would buy it again, as a gift or for myself (to pamper me!) I am going to use the pail to plant bulbs for spring, so I will be using everything.

What a disappointment from a brand for which I used to have so much respect. First of all, these products are touted as being for dry skin, and then they recommend exfoliation as if dry skin needed more irritation. The bath gel was a bit like an oil slick, floating on top of the tub water. What about the soap? It was soap plain and simple, which can be purchased for much less at any grocery. As for the hand cream, there were no softening properties whatsoever. After applying it, I turned to my favorite drug store brand. Now, the pail is something else - it really is useful. But, Crabtree & Evelyn, if I just wanted a pail, I could have simply trekked off to the hardware store. Since "getting your goat" means to annoy, the set is appropriately named.

These are the finest products I have ever used. They are mild enough for babies! Your skin will absolutely glow.

As one who appreciates pampering, I set pretty high standards for bath stuff. I give this Crabtree & Evelyn goat milk gift set pretty high marks for value. It's ideal for someone who like "natural" products or has sensitive skin. The set comes attractively packaged in small galvanized metal bucket adorned with a dark periwinkle french wire ribbon. The bucket is probably the best part of the set and I've already pressed it into use as a planter. The enclosed products, soap, gel, and lotion, all have a very mild almost neutral scent and are gentle and non-irritating. If I had to complain it would be that for triple milled the soap doesn't last very long.

My husband gave this gift set to me, and I loved it...so I asked him to do it again! It has a great feel and fragrance, really lathers well. You get a neat little pail, too!

I ordered this product in December. Amazon kept delaying the ship date so I contacted Crabtree & Evelyn direct and they said they no longer carry this item So why is it still on the site for delivery in 2-3 weeks??????
