I gave this set 4 stars instead of 5 because the price is a little bit high for such items but since I love bath goodies I splurge every now and then.
I wasn't disappointed on this splurge;it smells really amazing-warm and fruity,very relaxing.The soap has lots of lather and the lotion rubs right in and leaves my skin velvety soft and scented for hours.This would be a perfect gift for any girlie girl on your list as it comes in a pretty frothy bag with ribbon ties and the products themselves are in beautiful little boxes too.I would reccomend this to anyone who likes really nice bath products.

This was the first time I had purchased a Crabtree and Evelyn product, and I was quite pleased. The quality is so much higher than other bath and body products I have found at drugstores/mass merchandisers. The Sonoma Valley fragrance is warm and intoxicating - I loved it! The scent was still noticeable hours after using the silky smooth lotion. I felt as if I were being pampered all day. The only drawback was that the price was rather steep. I probably would not have purchased this for myself if I hadn't had an Amazon gift certificate! But I would definitely recommend this as a lovely gift for a special person.

I bought this for my sister's birthday. Held my breath because she can be very fussy about fragrances and she LOVED this set and wanted to find more C&E articles like it.

Sonoma Valley is my favorite C&E fragrance, and I have always been happy with the quality of their shower gels and lotions. The gels lather nicely, smell wonderful in the shower and deposit a very light scent on your skin which lasts for the entire morning. Excellent for layering with the lotion and cologne (the cologne is not included in this set, however).

The C&E lotions in their Scarborough line, like the Sonoma Valley, are not for intensive treatment but are refreshing and give light moisturizing. The pump bottle makes it convenient to apply.

Honestly I'm not quite sure why a bar of soap is included in these sets, since the shower gel makes it redundant (personally I save up the bars and give them to guests). I wouldn't recommend the bars as hand soap as they are a little too highly scented for most men. Be that as it may, if you use bar soaps these are nice, a generous size and as the gel, leaves a delightful light fragrance to the skin.

Comes packed in a white gauze bag, not really suitable for gifting unless it's a very informal gift but nice enough for oneself.
