I tried a great many of these comprehensive review books, and this one was the most helpful. Great explanations, you'll have a good mastery of the concepts when you're done with it.

Explains as if teacher is teaching you right in front. Good examples. approach to teaching is easy & not overwhelming.

I bought two of these books for my kids taking the SAT 2 Biology test. They felt it was very easy to read, geared for their age and they finished the reading and practice tests in between homework over the course of a week.

not much could go wrong here, since it's a standardized test book. just check to be sure you are ordering the correct edition, since older ones are available.
