5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the night before
For the student with many AP exams, finding a concise review guide that elimintates the fluff is the ultimate challenge. Luckily this book provides exactly that. 3.0 out of 5 stars Not the greatest
I just taken the AP test. While I think I can get a 4, I feel like the book was not enough. I studied almost all the concepts in the book and did the practice tests. However, it lacks any explanation on complex ions and coordinate complex. Also the tests were rather simple compared to the real test. I wish I bought another book to study along with this book.

For the student with many AP exams, finding a concise review guide that elimintates the fluff is the ultimate challenge. Luckily this book provides exactly that. I read every chapter of this book in only about an hour and a half and took the AP test the next day and can honestly say that it helped me with those questions that are purely fact/knowledge based (colors of solutions, descriptive chemistry, etc.) that previously were a challenge but with the help of this book became just easy points. If a student isn't confident with a particular section, there is a multitude of comprehensive multiple choice and essay questions at the end of every chapter that can test his knowledge. I reccomend the Princeton Review books for all science courses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book except missing detachable reference sheets, September 12, 2010
This review is from: Cracking the AP Chemistry Exam, 2011 Edition (College Test Preparation) (Paperback)
Just recently bought this book as a student. The book is detailed and has charts to better display certain ideas. It has review questions after every ch., but some are not based on the book, but from class. A detachable reference table was not included; instead, I had to make photocopies from the book. Overall a good review book.

This is what a student should read before a test so they have the most fresh information in their head. Very accurate, straightforward, and helpful!

This definitely summarizes a lot of key points in an easy understanding way compare to Barron's. If you don't have time to study i can assured you this will get you a great score. However, if you are looking for a solid 5 barron's is a must buy, it's a bit wordy though and contains many unnecessary information, good luck trying to differentiate those

5.0 out of 5 stars Gold Mine!!!!!!!!!!!!, November 6, 2011

I love this book. This book is so awesome. It has helpful explanations and test questions. I really needed something like this because the free writing in and math part of Chemistry is lethal. I suggest if you want to have not wasted time in your AP Chemistry class just to fail the test and get no college credit, you grab this study aid. It' has helped me tremendously and I am still working with it. I do believe I will do well on my AP exam because of this added boost.

Probably the best format out there! I looked through Baron's review book and thought it was too thick, so I picked this one because it was smaller (lol). Luckily I really enjoyed the way they explain things. I later compared it to the Baron's one again and found their format confusing. I ended up getting a 5 on the exam (woot!). The other ones may fit you more, but i really recommend the Princeton Review.

Princeton Review AP series are the best. They are very helpful. Even though it's a large book, it still doesn't contain everything. I would still buy the book for any of the AP classes. Every bit helps.

Excellent guide for AP Chemistry. Detailed information for every topic, and when paired with a teacher, is the best possible study guide! I love it and found it extremely useful!
