Excellent preparation book,

I'm going to take the GRE Subject Math in a few weeks and I've been preparing for it about one month. I've found this book to be very good at reviewing and explaining every topic. Sometimes I wish that it had more practice questions for every section. There are some typos in the book but not too many. Please do not be mistake the GRE Subject Math exam with the Quantitative section of the GRE General exam. This book will not help you for that purpose.

Excellent Preparation for the Subject GRE,

I've been using this book to study for the upcoming GRE, It has been fairly helpful to bring me up to speed on several areas that are a little hazy to me. The problems are on the average a little harder than on the real thing, but that helps you prepare well for the test. There are a few typos and mistakes which I caught, but nothing compared to the number that are in the infamous REA Math Subject GRE review book, which is truly astounding in it lack of editorial detail.

This book is the BEST tool I have found for preparing for the GRE. Not only does it provide numerous sample problems, but it explains, in a concise, clear manner, strategies for solving the problems, methods of saving time, and warns of possible devices the test creators have used to create problems that will truly test one's knowledge in the three subject areas. This book is worth much more than its cost. I found it to be more helpful than a $400.00 course I took prior to my first taking of the GRE. Using this book and the included disc helped me raise my scores in all three subject areas. I recommend this study guide without reservation. I just wish I had used this the first time!
