This review book was short and sweet, and pretty interesting too. It gave me all the info i needed to prepare. In the meantime, there were frequent drills and stuff that used really great literature, such as excerpts from moby dick, or a poem by emily dickinson. also, there are tons of reminders of vocab throughout such as what I did in the title for this review, so it really sticks. It's clear that it was written by someone who actually loves literature, because they reference awesome books throughout. for a test prep book, it's a good read.

I purchased this book for my stepson as he prepared for his SAT Literature test. He already had a couple of other review books (Barron's for example). He said the Princeton Review was the best one. I bought other Princeton SAT review books as well. He made a perfect score on the math and science sections, and missed a perfect score on the Literature exam by two points. He recommends the Princeton Review books to all of his friends facing the SAT and the ACT tests. He made a 35 on the ACT.

This is one of the few test prep books that I've been able to read with out falling asleep. I bought it to prepare myself for the test and the class that I will take this upcoming semester. Overall I've learned a lot and am satisfied with the book. It makes the test seem doable and challenging (enough) at the same time. I'm confident that I will score high on this test.
