Strongly recommend. I bought this book one month ago, and it is a really good preparation for the real test. There are two tests for each portion with a lot explanation.I passed the test. Good Luck to you.
Another good one is PPST Study Guide (Praxis Study Guides) by ETS. Barron's is not good as these two.

This book gives you great information and practice for the Praxis I (PPST) test! Make sure to pick it up!

The overall layout of the book was confusing and it felt like the information jumped around. It was helpful on some points, but overall, I was not confident that it prepard me well for my exam.

I would like to be able to give this book four or five stars, but the abundance of errors makes that impossible. Having bought the book in preparation for the Praxis PPST, I was looking forward to using the practice tests to identify areas I on which might need to brush up. Unfortunately, the errors made an accurate assessment close to impossible.

Good review material for anyone looking for a little review prior to taking the test.

Good reference for those interested to take the PRAXIS. It gives you an idea about the different topics that you need to review.

This helped my son prepare for and pass on his first try at the Praxis 1.
