The Bakla's Cross: The philippine Republic is a grand place for fun and adventure. Angel Butol, ex-guerilla, ex-policeman, and former supplier of film extras and other delights, gets involved with an American treasure hunter, a retired Japanese Jajor, and a Filipina "Bomba" star .. she's the kind that makes naughty pictures. The trouble with the adventure part is staying alive.
The High Priestess: There's not much one can't find in Hollywood's version of what it considers to be early New York Greenwich Village. But even this tale stretches belief. It's up to you to know if getting Lee McAdams a happy ending might have been possible. Nothing in the story is ture except perhaps the characters, all typical denizens of the area.
