What a great debut album. Gritty, original, and powerful. Check out "Fallen", "Hungry", "For Life", and "Chemical Ride", if you're in a hurry to make a judgement, but the whole album is fantastic.

This debut album from 3YH is a good rock to hard rock band. Hailing from the Quad Cities these guys have been hitting the pavement hard over the past few years. This album sounds like of mix of Staind, Chevelle, Sevendust, and Breaking Benjamin. I went to their album release party and they are just as good live if not better than the album. It is kind of reminiscent of when I saw Breaking Benjamin perform in a small college pub back in 02. These guys are will be climbing the rock charts in the coming year. Buy the album now to get familiar with their music; because I'm sure you will be seeing them show up on various rock tours/festivals this spring and summer.

This is one of the better Hard Rock offerings I've heard in a while. Clint Lowery, guitarist of Sevendust, produced this record and that is how I heard about this band. I checked out a preview of the album and decided to pick it up. I must say I am very impressed by this record, top to bottom.

The musicianship is solid throughout, but the real standout is the singer Joze Urquiza. He has a great range and many of these songs have great melodic choruses. There are no screamed vocals on this record, but the songs still feel aggressive. People have compared their sound to Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, or 3 Days Grace, but I think there's enough originality in this band's sound that they can't directly be compared to any one band.

A lot of these songs could hold their own as singles. My personal favorite on the record is the opening track, "The Devil's Slave." It has a nice opening riff and a soaring chorus. "Chemical Ride" is already a wildly popular video on YouTube, and "Hungry" is getting some airplay on Sirius Octane and the Active Rock Radio charts. With Clint as a producer, you can hear his guitar work and influence sprinkled throughout the record. The melodic guitar lines really keep a lot of these songs interesting and not as bland as some typical mainstream rock bands.

These guys have some real potential. Granted, I'm not a huge fan of their band name (a mix between 3 Days Grace and 10 Years, perhaps) but I'll be following them for the next few years. Hopefully they'll get out on tour with some major players so people on the East Coast can get out and see them.

good stuff. the vocals are a little to disturbed-ish at times, a band i hate, but otherwise great band. FANTASTIC choruses to most of these songs. ovr all, a must buy for fans of heavy rock.

3 YEARS HOLLOW is a great new band that sounds sort of like a hybrid between THREE DAYS GRACE and SEVENDUST, as cliched nowadays as it is to say. However, I feel that the band's sound can't really be compared to anyone else in the genre. I've actually known about this band for quite a while, since I found them on Spotify a year ago, so I was quite surprised when I heard about this album. Highlights include the single HUNGRY, along with CHEMICAL RIDE, FOR LIFE (ft. Clint Lowery, who also produced the album), FALLEN, the title track, and TAKEN BY ALL.
