So I saw this exact unit here on Amazon for $19.00 with another seller. I was skeptical that the same unit was $50 on other Amazon sellers sites. Hmmm...

Now I know why: The unit is cheap and defective.

The audio out plug does not work. This is the reason I bought this thing.

The dock should do TWO things:

1) Power/Charge your iP/od/one

2) Deliver Audio to AMP

My unit worked for #1 but not for #2. The 1/8" audio jack just does not work.

You get what you pay for, folks....Maybe if I paid $50 instead of $19 it would have worked? Ha! Yeah right. It's the fact that this is a no-name manufacturer that makes this in china....think about it. Your putting your $300 device into this....Don't do it. I put mine on the curb. Someone took it but...they will soon learn why I gave it away.

Purchased this to connect my iTouch to my sterio system. I wanted a clean look to match our living area. I had purchased a similar off brand dock befor and while the usb worked so I could sync with my PC the 3.5mm jack did not work. This is a very inexpensive product and does what it is suppose to do. Only drawback is when the cables are attatched to it (power and 3.5mm - RCA) it tips bacwards. A little mounting tape fixed this small problem.

Dont understand prior review. The unit works just fine with my itouch and I dont even have to remove the cover from my itouch when syncing as you do with other units other than Apples. It connection works just fine with my speakers on my stereo and the main purpose I purchased unit. Hard to fine one like this on ebay. Can find cheaper, but many dont work and dont fit itouch unit. I know, I have experienced it.
