5.0 out of 5 stars A not so ordinary Childhood, January 11, 2012
This review is from: A Cradle of Haloes: Sketches of a Childhood (Hardcover)
The story of Bernies early, formative days, in the bleak rural backwater's of Lincolnshire.
He tells of his upbringing, early loves, and life, jobs,
and the descision to move to London, and form one of the most productive writing partnerships in Musical History,
along with Reginald Kenneth Dwight (Elton John).
They changed the face of music all over the World.

It's a good read, and some of the stories are quite amusing, and you can see where his song lyrics have come from.
When he loses the affection of a long term girlfriend, to the Small Faces lead singer, Steve Marriott is a classic bit!
