SPOTTED DOLHIN - Born into a world of crystal clear water, the spotted dolphin is welcomed by excited relatives. From this moment on, she will never be alone. Instead, she will be connected to her pod through relationships essential to her survival. In time, the curious dolphin learns the ways of her tribe as she hunts, avoids sharks -- the Atlantic hammerhead being the most dreaded -- and navigates the vast ocean waters.
SEA OTTER - The baby sea otter is born in the translucent green canopy of the towering kelp forest. Too buoyant to dive, the pup relies on his mother to search for food. For the first three months, the pup will be the sole focus of his mother's attention. During this time, he will learn the myriad skills needed to survive, including how to care for his coat -- the densest of any animal on earth -- and how to use his whiskers to detect prey in the sand.
