This book is a culmination of all the articles Mr. Murray wrote for Dow Jones Investor Magazine. There are great pieces of information here to use to educate your clients who own investments, especially in these shaky markets. Should always be on your desk or readily accessible.

As someone who has been in the financial services industry for 28 years I would suggest that everyone who is serious about providing financial advice should be required to read this. So many people are focused on the question of what are the financial markets going to do in the next few days, weeks and months. Nick Murray reminds us that the important questions are those that we often forget to ask such as how often are we going to save, how much are we going to save, and how are we going to save it. It is a reminder that one of the biggest challenges to succesful long term investing is our EGO! Thank you Mr. Murray for providing your perspective on how to be a Succesful Long Term Investor.

Nick Murray is simply phenomenal. His ability to provide extraordinary insight into the human side of how people interact with their investments and investment advisers is eye-opening, and this easy-reading page-turner should be required reading for anyone truly serious about understanding how to be successful in financial services.
