I have one. At first I thought it was lame and I was going to send it back because I thought I'd be limited to just cutting text out of vinyl or paper. Then I discovered that you can cut directly from Adobe Illustrator 10. That made it very worth while because you can do exactly what the professional sign shop does (although you're limited to 8.5 inches wide). Great product!

My wife makes all her "cropper" friends jealous with this thing. She calls it her "Cricut on Steroids". Main advantage: you can cut out anything that you can design, any font, any wording, anything. You are not limited to what is preprogrammed cartridges like the overpriced Cricut stuff.

The software is easy to install and it comes with a very detailed instruction video. I would seriously buy this thing for my Grandma and she could use it.

We run a t-shirt printing business making around 1,000 shirts a week using flex vinyl which is cut on these machines. Rather than spend $1,700.00 on an industrial-type cutter, we use three of these babies to do the same job. Sure, we have to cut our flex down into 8x10 sheets, but we've saved over a grand, and our Craft Robo machines look like they'll outlast all of us! Very highly recommended indeed.
