I am midcentury modern so I enjoy this book. It is very nostalgic to look at all of the great designs that came out of that era.

What a show! What an exhibition indeed! I better appreciate how the arrangement of design and craft and particular events work to effect our understanding of the postwar years; its impact on our lives. These years seemed so misunderstood. (My father was in the war and so sadly traumatized psychologically. Through it all he was brave and loyal.) Finally, these years, 1945 through the sixties were (and are still) a vital part of our world.
