However, the craft business is like any other small business, with all the pitfalls. Kadubec, who with his wife ran a successful business selling baskets at shows for several years, here gives us the benefit of his experience. If you want to get the equivalent of an immediate 17 years of experience in the craft show industry, read this book. Phil Kadubec has given us the straight talk and advice to help us avoid the usual costly mistakes. This book is a must-read for anyone contemplating entering the craft show scene. Every aspect of the business is covered with self-effacing honesty, wit and wisdom. I thought the sections on designing a booth, and dealing with customers were particularly good.

This book has been lots of help as I venture into my first year of selling my potter at shows! It tells you all the little secrets about promotors and events. Lots of great advice on setting up and maintaing a successful booth.

This book is hands down better than any of the other books out there about making it as a craftsperson selling at fairs. This book covers it all and is an excellent resource for beginners and more experienced crafters alike.
