PreS-Gr 2-Ross once again presents simple, easy-to-follow instructions for creative craft activities. Here she focuses on 20 familiar songs, with projects such as a "Bear Over the Mountain" stick puppet, "Old MacDonald's Barn" made from an envelope, "Tippy Teapot" made from a paper plate, and a "Washed-Out Spider" made from a cardboard tube and yarn. Clearly designed to help expand the imaginations of young crafters, this book does not contain any black-line masters to drop on a copy machine and duplicate. The colorful, charming illustrations are both helpful and full of whimsy. Although the lyrics are not included, the author does provide a listing of her favorite songbooks. This title should enjoy the same popular appeal as the author's Crafts from Your Favorite Fairy Tales (Millbrook, 1997).-Dona J. Helmer, College Gate School Library, Anchorage, AK
