Had the 5 piece set that comes in the cooler lookin wheelie thing, got it about 6 years ago and all the batteries still hold a great charge! Drill has tons of torque that is adjustable as well. Only reason for buying another is my roomate left it outside and it got stolen. Awesome drill, best I've ever used!

This seemed like a good price for a replacement for my two very-heavily-used, but now broken, Craftsman drivers. However, I've found that it is unreliable in operation, which is disconcerting when you're leaning out on a ladder trying to fasten something. Mine generally works, but it will often not respond to the trigger. Whacking it on something hard sometimes fixes the problem, but I usually have to remove and reinsert the battery, jamming it firmly into place--not very practical when you have only one hand available (the other being busy keeping you from falling off a ladder). My batteries are not the problem--they work fine in my two original drivers. And in all the years I used the two originals, I never even ONCE had this problem. I suspect these are factory rejects being sold here, which would account for the fact that they're being sold "bare". I'll use the one I received until I can select a better replacement for my old Craftsman sets, but I wish I'd spent the time searching before I wasted my money on this one.
