Had the sensors go our after about 100 days of use. Craftsman advertises 90 day parts and service and 2 year part warranty. When I called I was told the parts were only warranted if I paid Sears to come out and do the repairs. NOwhere does it state this in their warranty. Will never buy another Sears/Craftsman product again.

My door opener works just fine but initially i was having trouble with the up travel limit. It was running into the stop bolt. I called the 800 number in the instsllation insstructions and was told they couldn't help me if I didn't buy the unit direct from Sears. I called the hardware store where I bought the thing and they put me in touch with a technician who tried to help. eventually I reprogrammed the travel limits myself and now it works fine. I'm dreading having to make a warranty claim. this whole go-round has left a bad taste.
