I just purchased this set of sockets and wrenches from Sears and put them right to work assembling some new tools for my shop. I have no complaints about the quality of any of the sockets or wrenches. The plastic case is, well, a plastic case, nothing fancy but it certainly does the job. The only thing I can think of to point out is that I don't love that the wrenches are meant to just lay jumbled together on the topmost compartment, but honestly, it's not a big deal for me. Lastly, each tool has some strange words engraved into it that I've rarely, if ever, seen on other brands..."Made in USA"!

My girlfriend told me we could go to the Sears store and buy these puppies if I wanted to. I was working on my Suzuki motorcycle when I found myself in a predicamnet where I needed more tools than what I had. I have purchased some smaller sets around $40 or $50 before but I was ready to up my game to a larger set. I figured 255 pieces will keep my hands busy for a while.

I bought this set and I havent looked back. I got a good deal on them (149 in store for Christmas) so I am very pleased with them. If you want true reviews on this set of tools go to sears website and look up these 255 piece set. There they have about 80 reviews you can get some quality reviews and opinions, since the other reviewer on here gave it such a low rating.

overall i would say the set of tools is well worth around $180 if you can get it for that.

This set of tools is a great set, however it retails from the manufacturer on the Craftsman website for $299.00 not $499.00. The deal here is slightly better but not by hundreds of dollars as this website indicates.
