This is the best garden hose I ever owned.
William G. Wallace
Buy one of these and you will not regret it, they are top notch and probably the last hose you will need to buy for a very long time.

Thank you to the manufacturer and the distributer!

I've always been at the mercy of Lowe's or Home Depot when it comes to garden hoses. I hate garden hoses by the way. I dislike pulling them out, I dislike lugging them around the yard, I dislike rolling them up. This all rubber hose is very different from the stuff in the big box stores. It seems much easier to work with, especially to unwind, and doesn't seem to kink easily. So far so good!

I have a horse barn and I have to water 30 horses twice a day. My previous hose would kink and eventually it leaked. This hose doesn't claim to be kink resistant but when you do get a kink and then pull it comes right out. Sears also guarantees this hose. If there is a problem with it they will exchange it. The hose is light too. Very happy with this hose.

PRO: flexible. Durable. Soft.

CON: This all-black-rubber hose will leave black streak on your yard when it is hot. It blackens your hands just to touch it.

I have four of these hoses, all over 15 years old, all of which are just left out on the patio/grass in Southern California and used almost daily. One had the old "thin wall" male fitting, which became worn over time from dragging on the concrete, stepping on, etc. I returned the hose to Sears, and they replaced it, no questions asked (no receipt).Only downside is if you handle the hose portion a lot, your hands will get black. I also have several other brands of hoses, some with "Lifetime Warranties" which typically last 5-7 years before they burst and get returned. Generally they are no longer made, so I end up with a new brand or different model. My experience is the true rubber hoses last the longest,(I also have a red rubber one) at least in Los Angeles (never freezes). PS. I bought a red Colorite 3/4" yesterday (Lifetime Limited Warranty??????)and the fittings failed immediately. So sad for a hose made in the USA. Gatorhyde hoses are also great, but pricy.

The HealthyStuff website released a report "Hazardous Chemicals found in Gardening Water Hoses". Very few hoses rates low in toxins. This was one of them. A very good reason to select it, especially if you have kids or dogs who drink from the hose, or you water your vegetable garden with it.

I bought this because it was highly recommended on a "consumer" site. It's a Craftsman, which means it has a lifetime warranty. Good as far as it goes. But...it's very heavy and kinks like crazy. Every time I use it it is an exercise in frustration. Might work well on a wind-up reel, but not on a hanger, which is what I use.

Nice to feel, nice to use. If you have ever spent too much time trying to bend the kinks out of a cheap plastic tube that passes for garden hose these days, you are going to like this product!

I've had my current home for almost a decade now and, living in the Southwest, we use our water hoses more than most of the country and they get abused by the heat / UV / temperature swings a lot more too. In my time here, I've gone through many, many hoses and was so tired of all the gimmicky junk and cheap quality, so I ended up doing some research the last time. These came highly recommended so I decided to pick them up, and they have been my go-to garden hose for several years now, with no sign of wearing out. They are that good!

First and foremost, it's not assembled here from foreign components or made in China, but Made-in-USA. That's right, an actual American-made product. Doesn't mean much to some consumer, but it means a lot to me as I want to support American jobs and believe in the quality difference vs. import junk. That difference shows through in spades with this product too. You get high quality, nickel plated ends with proper edges, so if need be you can slap a wrench on it (although I've never had to), tight tolerances and a fantastic, all rubber hose. They are flexible even in cold weather, but do not turn to mush in the super warm weather like some of the thinner, import garbage hoses you buy at the big box stores. They never collapse on themselves or deform either, partly because they are full rubber hoses, but also because they are not round but geometrically shaped (think something like an octagon). It's the only hose I've ever owned that, on the rare occasion it kinks, you can twist the hose in your hands and it will un-kink, even if you're twisting 20 feet away from the kink. This has been one of my favorite features of this hose, because nothing is more irritating than having to walk all thew way back to remove a kink.
