I bought this speakers set for my PSP and HTC Hermes Phone. The specifications are impressive for such a small sized sound system 10 Watts and 80 to 20,000 kHzI really like the sound quality and power these speakers provide. The only disadvantage I found was that the 3.5mm connector with wire

cannot be hidden when the speakers are folded

I like to give MP3 players to friends and family as gifts and this is my favorite speaker to give along with the players.

It is small enough to fit in your hand when folded up and not too large when speakers are extended. It is sturdy and attractive. I do wish it came in a choice of colors but all I have ever found it in is white. It has a flat bottom when folded out and is steady on flat surfaces but I toss it down on the couch next to me when I am using it with my netbook computer and it works and sounds just fine.

It has a really nice sound quality - better than I have found in much more expensive portable speakers.

It does take 4 - AA batteries but I have found that battery life on mine seems to be pretty long. Also, when the speakers are folded together, the cord sticks out from between them and there is no place to wrap it or store it. This has not been a major problem to me. I pack this little speaker all over with me when I'm traveling. It fits nicely in my backpack.

It doesn't have a volume control but I haven't found that to be a problem. I use the volume control on whatever device I have this plugged into and the volume has always been plenty loud enough (and I'm partially deaf). The sound from these speakers is amazingly clear and not distorted.

I have probably bought at least 10 of these in the past and am quite sure I will buy many more in the future. I hope Craig never discontinues making them.

Another speaker I have used and like, though not as much as this one, is DB Portable Foldable Speakers for Mp3 Players - Black. They have great sound, too, for their size but don't seem to be as sturdily built. One nice advantage is they can either run by battery power, USB, or by buying a separate AC power adapter. My first choice, though, is still the mini Craig.

My husband purchased this devise at a Walgreens three years ago. It is great for outdoor BBQ (with a few people), and we listen to it when cooking in the kitchen or working in the Garden. The sound quality is pretty great considering it's size and its battery power. Unfortunately our Geese( our pets)chewed through the cord on our first Craig and then I ruined the second one we bought by playing it too loud (oops! don't overdo it). I am about to purchase our third Craig. My husband refers to this device like a person. He says things like " Hunny, Where is Craig?." It's too funny! This is an excellent buy for the money !!!!

I got this because I wanted sound louder than my Chocolate phone could do on its own. Doesn't happen, no volume control.
Speakers are nice size and easy to use.

I took Craig all over the country. Just picked up a battery charger and was very happy with the sound quality. Especially for the price.

I really needed this to test audio signals in tight equipment rack spaces but the unit only lasted 45 seconds from the first power-up. Since I am an electronics technician, I had to open it it up and see what's going on. I was amazed how poorly the quality control is and I felt like I was transported to 1973 all over agin with discrete parts spread all over the place. We live in a time where we can produce simple, clean circuit boards to drive our products. I didn't even attempt to fix this and ordered another brand.
