We purchased this and it worked ok for a couple months, after that it started having problems charging. 4 months after purchase it no longer charges at all, something is wrong with the charging port. I contacted customer support, not only do they not have a warranty after 4 months, they won't even fix it at all. No more Craig electronics for us.

I've been somewhat surprised at text and vid reviews of this device, many finding fault with it's shortcomings. The most helpful image is a honda accord. It does just about everything you expect quite well, the processor is fast enough for all but the more graphic demanding games, jelly bean is stable and fast, unlike many low price tablets, this is google cert, has google play. Youtube, netlix, comcast live tv, maps, nook/kindle, skype all run flawlessly, the camera is low res but adequate for skype. Some complain about the wifi, I think they are right at the edge of signal where a higher quality wifi radio section gives 2 vs 1 bar, I don't have any problem connecting or with speed. The display is not hd and is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 but the image quality is exactly what I expected: Most say don't waste your money on anything higher than 720p for 32"/smaller tv's because you won't see the difference and, while many 32" are now 1080, it's an incremental improvement. A 7" tablet display is in practical sense not that much larger than many phones so HD is not key to it's utility. This device (purchased elsewhere) cost less than a power adapter for most 7" android tablets so the question is: Do you need a $60k E Class or is a $25k Accord a better fit?

This is a very inexpensive tablet running a nice version of Android. Unfortunately, the screen and other limitations make for a mostly unpleasant experience with it.

Wi-fi works well. It gives you access to the Google Play store (some cheap tablets will lock you into their own store) and lets you sideload apps. It does not have Bluetooth. With the operating system and included apps, you are left with about 2.3 GB to install your own apps.

The screen has a worse resolution than my low-end smartphone, which is not a deal-breaker on a device this small, but it also has a washed-out look and appears sunk back behind the glass. The screen looks even worse if you view it from an angle.

It's nice that it can function as a USB hub, so that you can connect flash drives (verified), gamepads (verified) and mouse/keyboards (not verified) to it without having to buy more expensive equipment, and the accessible microSD slot makes it easy to add storage.

When I bought this, I thought even if everything else was terrible, I could at least use it as an extra Netflix/Xfinity receiver since it has an HDMI port. Picture coming out of the HDMI port looks really good, but the tablet doesn't clone the display, it only outputs to HDMI, while the tablet screen is blank. This makes it nearly impossible to control whichever app you're using, since you have to guess where the icons would be as you tap on a blank screen. Attaching a mouse would alleviate this somewhat, but then you wouldn't be able to charge the device through USB, and I can't promise that the battery would last through an entire movie, so using it for Netflix etc. is possible but very inconvenient.

Verified Purchase
I only left off the 5th star because I know a lot of people look for more in a tablet. I bought this for my 17 year old but she is not the average 17 year old. She has enough intelligence to realize that it does not take a $500 item to do things and is grateful to have one. She is not the "gotta have it" type personality. If you or someone you are thinking of is like this you should enjoy. it is wifi capable, has plenty of app download room (for her), you can use it as a book reader, play games, take pix, etc.
