5.0 out of 5 stars Cranberry - Who knew?
Cranberry Fool did just that; fooled me! I was expecting the usual dull Thanksgiving side dish that never stands alone. This is much more. I have glazed it on ham, baked it on turkey, and best of all it is a wonderful appetizer with cheese. First, the usual way served on gourmet crackers. It is especially delightful toasted in the oven with a variety of cheeses on thin cut...

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
Saw the product on television years ago when it first hit the market. Finally, got around to purchasing it. I expected a thick, naturally delicious fruit mixture, with predominantly cranberry and cherry flavor. In my experience, it was very reminiscent of cooked prunes and raisins. Way too much money for the product, in my opinion. Sorry.

I have glazed it on ham, baked it on turkey, and best of all it is a wonderful appetizer with cheese. First, the usual way served on gourmet crackers. It is especially delightful toasted in the oven with a variety of cheeses on thin cut bread. The palate is sharpened, allowing a lighter but more satisfying meal for the calorie and carb conscious. It also serves wonderfully as a light but substantial snack with no sugar. Cranberry Fool is simply an all purpose delight!

Mmm... this stuff is great! I got some this year right before Thanksgiving and it surprised me! Cranberry Fool is great with SO many things - I love it on crackers and with cheese and bread, but some people I know love it on ice cream as well. I haven't used it much in cooking or baking, but the times I have it has gotten rave reviews! It's GREAT as a glaze! If you like cranberries, try this - you won't regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is Great Stuff!, February 2, 2005
This review is from: Cranberry Fool, 11 Ounce Jar (Misc.)
I was surprised by some unexpected guests for dinner. I had not opened the jar before, so I wasn't sure how to use it. I decided to pour it over boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cover the dish with tin foil and bake. It was a hit!! Even my husband liked it, and he is very picky and stuck on old favorites. I just bought a couple more jars.

5.0 out of 5 stars It really IS good on everything, December 10, 2004
This review is from: Cranberry Fool, 11 Ounce Jar (Misc.)
I bought some of this after seeing it featured on Food Finds. At first I thought it would be a good alternative to cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving but it's even better than that. It's not tart like regular cranberry.....even with all the different tart fruits in the ingredients, it's surprisingly smooth and surprisingly good. I've tried it on ice cream, with cheese and crackers and have even put it on barbequed pork. So far, it's been fabulous on everything. I just keep trying to find more things to try it on! Will definitely be buying this one again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy, December 4, 2007

This stuff is amazingly yummy. We got it as a gift to go with some very expensive, very stinky cheese. What a treat!

Cranberry Fool is amazing...terrific on toast, or with a light cheese, or
just out of the jar with a spoon. It's much sweeter than I expected and very versatile. And, Cranberries are VERY healthy to boot. The Carmel Sin is killer as well...my kids love it on apples and ice cream. A decadent delight. Makes a terrific gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Use on Swordfish, May 29, 2007

If you want something that will truely impress your guests, use on grilled swordfish. Cook the swordfish steak on one side. After you turn the fish, spread Cranberry Fool on the top side and finish cooking. The fish will stay moist as the sauce seals the fish. Your guests will be amazed at this wonderful dish.
